We popped into a private tasting at Ocean Prime on Tuesday, where executive chef Sean Force was making menu decisions about the restaurant’s upcoming seasonal lunch card. “We like to keep things interesting for our guests – mix it up a little bit,” says Sean. “Quarterly, we introduce a lunch card with 3 or 4 special items.” The three items selected for the next lunch card are an awesome Michigan Wagyu burger with Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms and black truffle aioli; pan-seared halibut with cauliflower puree, roasted tomatoes and citrus vinaigrette; and a must-have salmon burger with crushed avocado and heirloom tomatoes. The items from the new lunch card will be available at Ocean Prime in Troy beginning next week.

Join us Saturday, December 22nd for the most popular in our series of Exclusive Whiskey Tastings! The goal of this event is to taste four whiskies in a blind but controlled fashion, and have a spirited discussion about them.
Did you know Pappy Van Winkle and Weller Whiskies all come from the Sazerac owned Buffalo Trace Distillery? This month, we compare and contrast very similar whiskies with very different price points:

We will then taste and discuss all four of these whiskies and they each will be revealed, with the intention of furthering your knowledge and understanding of these great whiskies.
