Motown legend Martha Reeves says she’ll start her second book soon, and promises that this time, she’ll tell all. In the ’90s, Martha released her autobiography, “Dancing in the Street: Confessions of a Motown Diva.” The book is about her career at Motown and the conflicts she had with other Motown singers and managers. “I held back in that book,” she admits. “But not in the next one. I think it is time for me to shed some light on a lot of subjects and a lot of people.” Looking regal at dinner at Grey Ghost on Wednesday with local philanthropist Jennifer Granger and GM event planner Chris Webb, she told stories that she plans to share in the new book about Berry Gordy, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and more. Juicy stories with no filter. She even mentioned who she sang so passionately about in her hit, “My Baby Loves Me.” The book is just in the planning stages now, but we can’t wait to read all the dish. Movie rights, anyone?
