Luxuries, for the most part, are a fun part of our lives. These are the things that make us feel really good. Whether it’s that new dress that we’ve purchased or those fabulous shoes that we couldn’t live without, fashion is full of luxurious items that we crave. Then there are those little things or little luxuries that make us feel special that we can incorporate in our daily routines. Sometimes we get so caught up in the business of daily living that we forget to treat ourselves to little indulgences. Here a few of my favorite little luxuries that will spice up your routine.

Trying out a new fragrance can be the perfect way add a little luxury to your fragrance routine. Chanel’s latest fragrance offering “Gabrielle Chanel Eau De Parfum” will be a delightful addition to your fragrance rotation. The fragrance composition is familiar yet decadently different.  The fragrance notes are described as rich, exotic Jasmine shimmers with the fruity green notes of Ylang-Ylang, while fresh and sparkling Orange Blossom shines through, offering a glimpse of Grasse Tuberose captured at its finest. For Chanel parfum lovers this is a must have. Gabrielle Chanel is available at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, from $105-$135.

Experimenting with the latest lipsticks are a great pick me up. The Fall season is a perfect time to try out what’s new and maybe even discover a new favorite brand. The YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain is the perfect way to add one of this seasons color trends to your fabulous stash of cosmetics. I’ve tried the YSL lip stains and they are wonderful. This formula for ultra-matte, high impact color with a lightweight, naked-lip feel will have your lips looking fabulous all day & night. The YSL lipstains are available at fine department stores including Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, $36.

One of my favorite little luxury finds is from Badgirl Rhianna. The Fenty Beauty line has taken off like a rocket since the launch during New York Fashion Week earlier this year. The cruelty-free brand contains everything from super shimmery highlighters to perfect dewy foundations and everything in between. So after all the hype I had to try the brand for myself. I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer number of shade choices in the foundation line alone, 40 to be exact. There is definitely a shade for every complexion. My favorite product is the Pro Filt’r Foundation and the Invisimatte Blotting Powder. The products are very buildable, the products are great for creating both a natural look and also the ultimate glam face for an evening out. The price range on this beauty line makes it a fabulous little luxury ranging from $10 – $54. Fenty Beauty is sold exclusively at Sephora locally or online at Fenty Beauty’s website.

Who doesn’t love spending a day at the spa? Those fabulous massages and that feeling of tranquility as you bask in the afterglow of a fabulous day. Imagine a place where having a manicure and a pedicure that can give you the same feeling of a day at the spa. That place exists and it is called Color Box Luxury Nail and Beauty Bar, located in Birmingham, MI is owned and operated by the vivacious Kendra. The shop is spacious and beautiful with décor that is luxurious yet inviting. During my first experience at The Color Box I was greeted warmly and offered a mimosa, it was then I knew I would love this place. It was only a matter of time before I would come back for the famous waterless pedicure, yes I said waterless

Imagine being led to a heated, zero gravity chair, along with a warm neck pillow and warm eye mask both scented with lavender. Now imagine that you’re able to sip your coffee, tea or mimosa all while having the best foot massage ever. As you begin to drift slowly into a Zen like state you can feel your technician gently rubbing your feet with a silky, smooth foot scrub.  My feet felt as smooth as a babies bottom with a waterless pedicure. The use of the warm towels, combined with wrapping you in plastic with a heating pad is a wonderful way to experience a pedicure not to mention very hygienic. Color Box also uses luxury nail polish brands such as Tom Ford, Chanel and Christian Louboutin as shown below. I truly loved my pedicure from Michelle and this is definitely my little luxury place.  Color Box Luxury Nail and Beauty Bar is located at 2159 Cole Street, Birmingham, Michigan 48009, 248-707-3500.

Chanel, Tom Ford and Christian Louboutin are just a few of the luxury nail polish products available at Color Box.

By adding these little luxuries to your routine you’ll definitely feel pampered. Who doesn’t want to feel special every now and then. It’s amazing how little changes can make such a difference!!

Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Sephora are all located in The Somerset Collection, Troy, MI.
