Fabulous Faux — The Walls of Virtue
Well, here’s an “I’ve Got to Have It” that I already have, and I must say, that I love. I first heard about The Walls of Virtue in a feature on Fox 2 News. Then, my friend and colleague, Anqunette Jamison, who did the story on the news, encouraged me to look further into the services that this dynamic couple provides.
The Walls of Virtue is an artistic company created by Barbara Spencer Johnson and her husband, Daryl Johnson. They craft exquisite faux finishes on walls, ceilings and floors of homes, offices or places of business.
“We decided to peruse the art of wall design in 1999,” recalls Barbara. “We have been honored to work with some of metro Detroit’s finest architects, builders and designers. Our work has been displayed in the Junior League Show House, Somerset Show House, HGTV, Fox 2 News and in the Marie Howard Showroom, just to name a few. Even though we have the capacity to do very large projects, our motto is …We do houses with great rooms and in other houses we make the rooms great!”
Their work delivers a guaranteed “wow” factor. I know this for a fact because they did the first-floor powder room in my home and every guest who goes in, comes out saying, ‘your bathroom is amazing – the walls are magnificent.’
The team of creative experts at The Walls of Virtue will meet with you on-site to develop a custom-designed style for your space. The artists work with you to create a style that will compliment an existing decor. Some of their most popular styles are Old World, Distressed Brick, Parchment/Suede, Elephant Hide, Embossed Stone, Marble Inlays and Dimensional Metallic.
The folks at The Walls of Virtue are fast, efficient, friendly, extremely talented, and best of all, the service won’t break the bank.
