We had a chance to catch up with Detroit’s own Elijah “E.J.” Johnson recently to find out what’s on his plate. E.J., who is currently in the boy group Mindless Behavior, is known for his work as Young Simba in “The Lion King” and as a lead performer in Kidz Bop. One of his newest projects is a lead role in a new feature length film “Misguided Behavior.” “I’m really excited about this project,” E.J. explains. “When I first read the script I was blown away with the way they address some major issues in our society — family matters, gun violence and bullying.” The movie also stars Khalil Kane, Clifton Powell, Carl Payne and Doris Morgado, as well as Princeton (Jacob Perez) and Mike (Mike River)from Mindless Behavior. The world premiere of “Misguided Behavior” is Tuesday at the AMC Town Square in Las Vegas.
